Scope
These terms govern access to France Student Hub and the purchase of our guidance services by consumers, within the meaning of the French Consumer Code and Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. Placing an order means you accept them.
The contract between you and France Student Hub: what we deliver, what it costs, your withdrawal rights, and how disputes are handled.
These terms govern access to France Student Hub and the purchase of our guidance services by consumers, within the meaning of the French Consumer Code and Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. Placing an order means you accept them.
We provide information, tools and personalised guidance on studying, living and working in France. We are an independent private service: we are not a government body, a university, a consulate, a law firm or a registered immigration adviser, and we cannot influence any official decision. Nothing we provide is legal advice.
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of any applicable tax, before you confirm your order. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. Accepted methods include Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and SEPA bank transfer where offered at checkout. Your order is confirmed by email once payment is authorised.
As a consumer you have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason and without penalty (Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to yafemedo@gmail.com; we refund all payments received within 14 days of being informed, using the same payment method.
We deliver each service within the timeframe stated on its page, and in any event within 30 days. Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects provided by French law; these guarantees apply regardless of any commercial guarantee.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for the documents you file with any authority. Outcomes of visa, admission, housing or benefit procedures depend on those authorities and cannot be guaranteed by us.
We are liable for the proper performance of the services we sell under the conditions of French law. We are not liable for indirect loss, for decisions taken by third parties or authorities, or for errors arising from incomplete or inaccurate information you provide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You must give a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential. We may suspend an account in case of fraud, abuse or breach of these terms, after informing you where possible.
The guides, tools, texts and visual identity of France Student Hub are protected by copyright. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted; republication, scraping or resale requires our written consent. Official texts and figures we cite remain the property of their sources, which we link on each page.
Write to yafemedo@gmail.com first — most issues are resolved directly. If you are not satisfied, as a consumer you may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator (Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code) or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence in the EU.
